Welcome to Hyde Park Middle School, where students develop their academic skills while exploring their talents and interests in an encouraging and supportive, Christ-centered environment. Small class sizes of 10-16 students, outstanding teachers, and a challenging college-preparatory curriculum make the difference in each student’s experience. Truths are discovered and learning is enhanced with interactive and inspiring classroom approaches. Advanced courses in Math begin in 6th grade, with Advanced courses in beginning in 7th grade. Students at all grade levels are taught using pedagogical strategies geared toward college-level academics.
Hyde Park Middle School provides a strong student culture with outstanding leadership opportunities and excellent extracurricular programs. At Hyde Park, athletics, fine arts, and academic competitions are designed to build character, instill discipline, and develop teamwork and leadership skills that carry over into the classroom and everyday life. Through spiritual retreats, weekly Chapel services, daily Bible classes, school-wide Day of Service, and our service week called GOweek, students transform into confident Christian leaders with a strong sense of self and a desire to serve others.
Middle School is a time of expression and development. At Hyde Park our students leave 8th grade confident and prepared intellectually, socially, and spiritually for the challenges of high school.
