Friends of Fine Arts

List of 4 frequently asked questions.

  • Who are we?

The Hyde Park Friends of Fine Arts (FoFA) organization exists to raise funds and provide operational support to the Hyde Park High School Fine Arts programs. This allows the staff to focus their teaching and performance gifts on cultivating each student’s God-given talents.

  • Who is supported?

We support all of the Hyde Park High School fine arts programs, which currently include Art, Choir, and Drama.

  • Why does HP need FoFA?

The Fine Arts faculty needs parent involvement! They currently manage all creative and administrative aspects of student exhibitions and performances. In addition to providing funding for capital needs, the Hyde Park Friends of Fine Arts will provide organized volunteer support. (i.e., measuring and distributing uniforms and costumes, ordering letters and jackets, compiling playbills, generating advertising revenue, etc.) It is a “booster club” for the fine arts programs similar to the Athletic Booster Club which supports our athletic programs. We appreciate any and all contributions of time, treasure and/or talent!

  • Can you help us?

Volunteers are urgently needed to keep Hyde Park Fine Arts one of the best programs in the city. You may view other current needs below. If you have questions or are ready to get involved, please contact Beth Smith bethnsmith1@gmail.com
