Christian Leadership Training for all Hyde Park High School Students
Austin Christian Leadership Academy (ACLA) is developing Christian leaders for the next generation!
ACLA and Hyde Park’s mission is to produce doctrinally sound Christian Leaders who are passionate about following Christ, serving others, and unapologetically sharing their faith. In light of that goal, in 2015, we combined our core Bible offerings with ACLA to continue to send out graduates who will impact our world for eternity.

All freshmen will take Bible Doctrine
"A Survey Through the Old and New Testaments" – freshmen will be given a strong foundation as they study God’s story from Genesis to Revelation and the fundamental tenants of the Christian faith, focusing on the Gospel. -
All sophomores will take Christian Leadership 1
and study from a biblical perspective what it looks like to be a Christian leader and how to sharpen their gifts and abilities and use them for eternal purposes. -
All juniors will take Christian Leadership 2
and journey deeper into the Gospels and how Jesus led others. They will learn how to take those characteristics and apply them to their lives and leadership. -
All seniors will take Apologetics
and learn how to confidently talk about their faith in light of the current culture and other world religions. -
Seniors can also take Christian Leadership 3
As an elective, seniors can also take Christian Leadership 3 which will focus on service
and mentoring.
