"But let justice roll down like waters, and righteousness like an ever-flowing stream. -Amos 5:24"

At the very heart of the Hyde Park Community is the desire to do justice, love mercy, and walk humbly with our God (Micah 6:8). As a body of faith, every member is created in the image of God (Genesis 1:26) – we will strive for unity within diversity so that every man, woman, and child know their intrinsic value to the community, and more importantly to the God who sent His Son to die for them.

As Christ-followers, our posture before both God and man must be one of humility, vulnerability, and teachability. We have so much to learn from scripture, and from each other.

We have created a list of resources to get us started on the life-long journey towards racial reconciliation. In humility may each of us listen and learn, and become the champions for justice and righteousness that God has called us to be.
