  • 1. Get to Know Hyde Park

    You and your family are invited to explore Hyde Park to find out more information, meet staff and get questions answered.  Find out about upcoming Admissions Events.
  • 2. Submit an Application

    Hyde Park accepts applications online through our secure website. You will set up your FAMILY login/password.  Please record your login and password in a safe location - you will utilize this information each time you login and track your application in the future. You will submit ONE application per student. After submitting your online student application(s), the Hyde Park Admissions office will contact your family.  PLEASE CLICK HERE to start your application!

  • 3. Need Help with the Online Application?

    If you need assistance while completing your online application, please save your form in progress and email: admissions@hp-schools.org.
  • 4. Online Recommendation Forms

    Please click here to access our Recommendation Forms, where you will create an account with schoolrecs.com. Once logged in, locate the grade-appropriate recommendation forms for your student. Follow the directions and complete the "Request" for each form. Your recommender (teacher/ counselor/ administrator) will then be notified. When completed, the confidential recommendation will come back to Hyde Park admissions electronically.

  • 5. Testing

    4k-5th grade students will participate in an assessment at Hyde Park Elementary School.  Applicants will be notified of test dates.  Students applying to 6th – 12th grades are required to take the Independent School Entrance Exam (ISEE).  To identify testing dates and locations throughout Austin, please visit www.iseetest.org or contact the HP Admissions team.  Please click here to see Hyde Park's on location ISEE Testing Dates.
  • 6. Interviews

    The HP Admissions Staff will contact you to set up Parent and Student Interviews in order to better know each applicant and family.
What are HPS' Admissions guidelines?
In keeping with HPS' mission of offering families a challenging college-preparatory curriculum within a Christian community, Hyde Park considers the following students for admission: (1) Students whose academic records demonstrate proven capability to succeed at HPS, (2) Students whose recommendations show a strong behavioral history and proven character as well as student/parent interviews that are in harmony with the Mission Statement and Core Values of HPS.
