Hyde Park Schools is proud to provide our students with opportunities to use their God-given talents to shine. From Elementary all the way through High School, we offer courses and programs that allow students to excel in the creative culture of the arts. Whether holding a paintbrush or standing in the spotlight, HPS students discover the passions, talents, and interests that will capture them for a lifetime.

Some of our High School Fine Arts offerings include Choir, Digital Art & Media, Film Studies, Guitar, Music Lab, Musical Theatre, Piano, Theatre Performance, and Visual Arts.

Our Middle School offerings are Art, Band, Worship Band, Choir, Theatre, and Piano.

Prancers

Prancers emphasizes performances at pep rallies, football games, competitions and an annual spring show. Dancers focus on specific skill sets, technique, performance qualities, and dance choreography. In addition to working diligently on improving dance knowledge and execution of movement, members of the dance team will gain life-long friendships and have opportunities to be leaders of the team and campus.

Dance/Prancers is a year-long commitment with financial obligations. All practices and performances are mandatory. Dancers receive a Fine Art and/or Physical Education credit each semester for full participation in the program.
